I agree with the others, I know when my aunt was diagnosed with ibc she had to fight with her Dr to take it seriously (ibc wasn't well known) and she joined a support group and she found that almost all 32 ladies in the group had to keep going back insisting that things weren't right when the Drs just kept prescribing antibiotics! It's scary to think they can miss something so scary. So definitely if you feel you need a second opinion do it!
