Is it normal to get lumps in your breasts while breastfeeding? I've noticed limp, but have no symptoms of blocked ducts or mastitis.

Do the lumps go away every time you feed? how old is your LO?

I get lumps in mine if I leave it too long between feeds, but LO is still only 5 weeks old so we are still trying to find the right supply levels.

As long as they are fully going away with each feed, you will prob find this is an over supply issue and won't be a plugged duct or mastitis.

I would be interested to find out as I get lumps, too - I thought they were blocked ducts but now I'm not so sure because they go away when my son feeds and only seem to come back when I'm pretty full. I have breast implants so now I'm wondering if maybe it's scar tissue that is just making its way to the surface when they get full. I'm planning on calling my LC on Monday to see what she thinks, though.

Yes, my boobs felt like bags of marbles whenever I would get engorged. As long as they're draining when you feed then you're good.
