Breast Pain in one Breast

So hubby and I are ttc (or were) and we did the good ol' baby dance a few weeks ago...well, my breast is sore. Just one, though. The only other time I've had breast tenderness was with my 1st and another time when I had an abscess in my breast. It doesn't look red or feel hot like it did with the abscess... sooo

Has anyone had unilateral breast pain only to get a bfp later? I'm testing in a little bit. I sent the hubs to the store to get a test.

Can't help but I'm ending my tww and found a lumpy painful something or other in left breast. I have been really hoping it is bfp related. Only my left breast has been bigger , more sensitive, more sore. Not sure what to think. Right one has only had the odd tingle.... I'm literally in the same boat. Let me know what u test. I am 10dpo still bfn.... Af due tues

I've never found a lump, bump, cyst etc.... Hoping it is due to excess hormones, I are a doctor tues. af date haha. Just thought I would add ... Maybe it's an abscess like you had ? What did yours feel like??

I have had the same thing throughout most of the last 10 days. I am 15dpo today. It has sometimes been in both but mostly just the left. I'll let you know once I test!

A couple months ago I could have SWORN I was pregnant (maybe it was a chemical) because my breasts got hard which has never happened before a period and I found a lump/even harder spot in one of my breasts. Once AF finally came, it went down but it still comes and goes. Of course when I could finally get into the doctor, it was barely there because it was right after AF came but now it's back again. The DR did say it is normal to get hormonal lumps. Unfortunately, it wasn't because I was about to get a BFP

I will be seeing the doctor again just to be sure it's nothing.

Sorry that doesn't really help you but just wanted to say that when I developed a lump, my doctor said it was normal and hormonal. However, if it doesn't go away, definitely go in. Yay hormones!

In my last (confirmed) chemical, while I was pregnant I had only ONE sore breast, so I definitely count it as a symptom. Good luck!!!

Very very informative thank you !! I see a doc Tuesday. Ill be happy to find out that it is hormonal. It has had us pretty fearful. It is non movable and it actually hurts when pressed. It popped up a week before af. I am kind of glad to hear someone else can relate so thank you very much. You have eased my mind a lot. Hoping on Tuesday the doc can do the same !

I did but it turned out to be a cyst and I went on to have a chemical but that doesn't mean chemical for u. The cyst for me came bcuz of homones going crazy so it very well could lead to a *sticky* bfp. Fingers r crossed!!

Just to hopefully ease your fears a bit, my naturopath told me that when you have painful lumps it's usually a cyst (I have a lot of tiny ones) and tht it's the lumps that don't hurt that you should be wary of.

Well thank you ladies. And thanks reality puppet for starting this thread. This is my first three months off mirena so maybe my hormones are still a roller coaster- causing the lump. I wish you all luck on bfps. You never know what can be a symptom. I know I'm out. Af due tomorrow and I have her cramps bad today. Oh well. Still end of December to look forward to !
