breastfeeding ? after lo sleeps for 10 hrs

If my lo is sleeping 10 hrs straight should I pump? I did fine when he went 7-8 hrs

My LO went 10 hours once...i woke her in the end to feed as my boobs were rocks and leaking! Shes done a handful of 8-9 hour stretches and i not pumped. Never had supply issues or blocked ducts etc

I had that same issue (LO would go 8 hours straight) and my lactation consultant suggested I wake up in the middle of the night to pump. Of course, I've NEVER done that! Ha! No way! But it's recommended. If he goes a long stretch without feeding, I feed him as soon as he wakes up and pump immediately after to make sure I got all the milk out.
