I bought the Saline drops Im using before every feeding..Using the Suction bulb once ever 4-6 hrs cuz it can agitate the baby nostrils...Just bought A COOL mIST HUMIDIFIER for the bedroom...Any other remedies you have used?? I guess cuz she is a Csection baby they say but it didn't start til she was 2 wks...She is on the breast like every hour now cuz she can only breathe through 1 nostril and the saline drops make her a lil weary..

I had this problem with Oliver, but with him, the drops worked a treat, so no advice I'm afraid! Do you use the drops diretly before a feed? I found this was whne they were most effective.

I also had this prob with Amelia i would just put 1 drop up each nostril directly before feeding her and it worked a treat.
What about a warm bath with the bathroom really steamy?

Hi can these Saline drops be bought from any pharmacy. I think i need to get some for my little one but not sure what I'm asking for!

Went to the dr...Its normal my poor baby girl...Saline drops I use them be4 every feeding it helps a lil and then the suction bulb..Also bought a vicks humidifier for downstairs its helping alot..Back massages and pats from the bottom up to move the mucus around to get it to come up..dr says she is well and gaining one and a half ounces a day..

I used to put a small amount of vicks rub onto Savannahs clothes at night because she couldn't breathe very well when in bed. Worked well too. Just be sure not to put any on their skin.
