Thanks you guys. I'm still pumping and comfort nursing him- giving him what I can. But, I think after fighting so hard for this... it's going to take me a minute to re-calibrate and get out of this mode that I've been in. My life has kind of revolved around it. I'm pretty beat up at the moment.
I definitely need to take some time to reflect on the whole situation - and try to understand why my sense of capability as a person/mother has become so intertwined with my ability to provide for him in a way that I just wasn't able to do. I'll get through it!
I just really appreciate the support that you ladies gave me through all of this. Thanks so much. It really has helped keep me going. :
