breastfeeding journey is at the end

After a little over 16 months my breastfeeding journey is over! I had to stop because I needed to start some medicine that doesn't allow me to nurse anymore. I am super sad and proud at the same time. She is my one and only...had a hysterectomy so it makes me sad I will miss it. I know she misses it...she has been extra fussy lately!

Huge well done for managing to 16-months. That is a fantastic achievement you should be super proud. I'm trying to wean my 16-month-old who is furious with me for it. Very sad.

What a fantastic achievement! Well done both of you.

I have heard some terrible stories about people who were told they had to give up because of medicine, when really the doctor had done no research and had just assumed it must be done! So just make sure you are happy with the advice you have been given.

My daughter is also 16 months and would go mental if I tried to stop! She feeds all night long so I have no idea how I'm going to stop when the time comes as she is showing absaloutly no signs of weaning what so ever! I think you have done an awesome job going this far if she isn't too obsessed like mine is- takes a lot well done you x
