My most treasured photo... the only picture I have of LO nursing. We did not know he had multiple collarbone/shoulder fractures in this picture, we began exclusive expressing after a few days of him screaming during the latch. I wish I had more pictures from those first few days.

LO also had severe colic. Here is a picture of him doing skin-to-skin contact with OH during a colic episode, after OH gave him a bottle of expressed milk He is horribly upset in this picture, but looking back it represents the struggles we had yet persevered with exclusive expressing at the time.

Luca 4 days old. He still has a tiny latch but it seems to be adequate although a bit nippy at first. My milk has come in and all the signs that he is feeding well are there.
