I really wanted the medela advance (backpack style) but it's very pricey and unfortunately with being out of work due to bed rest out of my price range. So my next option is lansinoh signature pro double electric breastpump. Anyone know if it's a good one to use?

I would trust Lansinoh. Reputable company and I've heard good things. Medela is the top of the line and what they use in NICU around here, but that one should be just as good. I've also heard good things about Avent

What kind of insurance do you have? A lot of insurance companies now will pay for a hospital grade pump with little to no cost to you. Might be worth a call to your insurance to ask?

yes, check your insurance. You can ask your OB nurse or if there is a lactation specialist nurse in your clinic/hospital. At mine, she will see me in the hospital and get me one when I deliver, as I was told that many insurances will not cover the cost of one until I deliver or very soon before my due date. It's nice to know that she will take care of it though, instead of buying it myself and having to send in receipts to be reimbursed.

My insurance covers one but only the most basic medela which is just the pump. No accessories, no bag to carry it to work, no extra bottles etc. so I'd end up spending a ton in accessories that are needed

I have an ardo electric pump, it was the one I used in hospital and I think it's fantastic. Kinda mid range price. Xxxxx

I used the lansiloh doubly pump and worked good for me for about six months after that stopped having as much suction but guess it depends how often you use it and how long you plan on breastfeeding or pumping for xx

That's what my insurance covered as well and it did end up having the accessories. It didn't have storage bags or a bottle nipple but it works perfectly.

Same as my insurance. It did end up having the accessories needed for pumping, just no bag, but really any bag or backpack will do.

My mom went and bought me the lansinoh signature pro double pump so can't wait till bugaboo is here to try it
