Breathless and fatigued?

Does anyone feel a little out of breath and that even short bursts of activity are a struggle?

I didn't have much in the way of tiredness with DS but at the moment I feel floored. I walk literally two or three minutes from the station to my office and up one flight of stairs and by the time I get to my desk, my heart is pounding and I'm out of breath. It's quite worrying! X

Yes, I get that too. The nurse at my doc's office said it's normal to be extra tired in pregnancy when exerting energy.

I simply go up the stairs in my house, and I'm out of breath at the top

You're blood vessels are expanding, and your body is creating more blood- so your heart is working harder. If the internet can be believed, by week 8 blood volume has increased 40-50%!

The last few days i have been very breathless but i think having a cold didnt help! I do find stairs hard and have been taking the lift at work! I feel so unfit
