Bridesmaid needs advice!

Hi lovely brides!
Hope you don't mind me stopping in to ask you all a question.
One of my best friends has asked me to be a bridesmaid and I'm wondering,apart from the hen do is there anything you wish your bridesmaids had helped you/were helping you sort out?What can I be doing to make it all happen with the least possible stress for her?

I personally could've done with more input from my bridesmaids where their dresses were concerned.

One was fantastic, and one hated every single dress I showed her because she 'doesn't do dresses' and both my sisters were no use either.

I think the main thing to do is be excited for your friend, happily talk about the wedding when she wants to and show how excited you are.

Jen you are going to make a wonderful bridesmaid.
Yer i would say about helping with hen due, maybe play a nice surprise for the bride. What about somethin like making her one of those t-shirts saying Mrs ****** for after the wedding. you can even get bikinis saying Just Married or something.
I was thinking about getting mine little tops made for the morning of the wedding as we will all be getting ready together. Tops saying Bridesmaid /MOH.
Just be there for her and let her know you want to help! thats worth loads

Im a maid of honor for a friend of mine and im helping her every step of the way with her wedding and she will help me with mine.

Definitly sort out her hen night, help when picking bridesmaid dresses and she may even want you to go along to help pick her dress. Just be generaly supportive and happily chat about wedding stuff!!

I have three bridesmaids one of who is my best friend of 17 years and works away on a crusie ship. Out of the 3 she has been the most supportive!!! The othe two live local but other than come and try their bridesmaid dresses on they have done nothing else. I am even organising my own hen night!!!
