Bright red bleeding/spotting - bfp - cp?

Hi, I hope someone can give me some hope. I got a BFP then later the same day bright red Bleeding no loads but enough to call it bleeding and not spotting, which soon changed to spotting and almost stopped within 24 hours. By pregnancy tests are still faint but appear to be getting a little darker. But i have read this can happen with a CP. Have any of you got any experience of this??
