broken washing machine! *Help*

    everytime the washer machine goes on it trips the electric an everything goes off:S it fills up with water but just as its about to spin all the elec cuts out:( didnt really wana be getting a new washer right now as xmas coming up:(

    Motor might be damaged or might be short circuiting says oh, but he says if poss try a diff plug socket initially x

    Ours kept doing that, it turned out the bearings had gone, the drum had dropped slightly and had wore a grove in the heating element, basically really dangerous! The engineer said we were lucky that the electricity had been tripping out!
    Probably worth getting it checked xxx

    Electrical issues on a washing machine, I wouldn't touch it. Defo either get it looked at or depending on cost it may be cheaper just to replace

    Our old one went like this, we just replaced it, popped the broken one on eBay and sold it for £30 to a local repair man for parts! Certainly worth doing if you can and make a but of cash back!

    Ours did that & got someone to look at it & they said water was leaking somewhere & we were lucky it was tripping the elec off so we replaced it x
