brown discharge 36 weeks...

I felt like I was leaking so I went to the bathroom and there was brown discharge on my pad but when I wiped there was nothing on the toilet paper. What could this be??? I'm worried my back started hurting too.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? What was the outcome?

I've not had anything like this personally. Give the doc a ring just to make sure he/she feels that's okay?

Sounds like it could be (the start) of your mucus plug / Bloody show

I'm so nervous. I'm gonna keep an eye on it & see what happens. I will definitely tell my dr though.

When I lost my mucus plug it was brown... it was really large and thick though. But afterwards was more brown discharge, so maybe it's the start of your plug. My doctor said it really doesn't mean anything to lose the plug, it could still be weeks and weeks until birth so I wouldn't worry too much!

I'm not too worried about it just the fact that it could be soon makes me nervous lol.

I have it hun, my doctor said it my plug starting to come away. I had a bit lump of browny/greeny discharge almost 2 weeks ago and since then ive had brown staining in my underware and on pads but nothing when i wipe xx
