Brown Discharge that's driving me nuts!!!

I miscarried back in December at 6 weeks. It began as very light brown discharge, the next day a little more, then more with a little red, then red the next day, then red with cramps and the miscarriage was confirmed by ultrasound at HCG.

So here I am after only one cycle pregnant at 6 (almost 7 weeks). I haven't really had many (if any) symptoms this whole time and on Saturday (5 days ago), I began to spot very very light brown again. Tueday I went for internal ultrasound and a heartbeat was detected! But the spotting continues.... and the lack of symptoms continues...

HCG was 6,600 on Tuesday (6w4d).
Today blood draw was done again and I hope for results tomorrow. I'm losing my mind over this because sometimes I feel like the brown spotting increases. But it's still brown and still not enough to use a pad or stain underwear. No cramps.

BABY MAKING IS CRAZY MAKING!!! I can't stop finding a million reasons why this is going to be another miscarriage! I am so scared!!!

I dont know what to say. I'm not gonna say relax because I myself am not relaxed.
But I will say I will pray for you now and have really hopeful thoughts for your baby and mine!

If you've been spotting for 5 days and it hasn't gotten any worse or changed colour, it sounds like it may just be old leftover blood...if a heartbeat was detected and tour hcg levels are rising, those are good signs! Gl to you.

I've had this on and off from week 5 to week 11, I totally understand how you're feeling. If it doesn't increase or change to red, I wouldn't worry about it. Detecting heartbeat is a great thing especially this early!

Put your feet up, relax and it'll eventually stop

I know exactly how you feel an am currently 7w3d. I got my bfp at 7dpo and have had brown discharge off and on for the past 3.5 weeks. In this time I have had 2 scans to make sure the bean is ok and there was a strong little hb last week at 6d3w. the EPU at my local hospital was positive and told me that unless I am not soaking through pads and there are no clots or red blood I should be ok. Keep positive and rest as much as you can all will be good

i had brown bleeding from 4+1 ti; 8+1 and baby is fine. I know its really hard but try not to worry. If they've seen a heartbeat then you've got a good chance. xx

hey hun, I had at 6 weeks brown discharge, then a red blood, which poured into toilet, red discharge, orange discharge, pink and brown discharge. Just call me joseph with my technicolour discharge lol. after the pour of red blood had a scan, was 6 weeks 4 days by my date but got dated back to 5-6 weeks but baby had strong heartbeat. bleeding continued so had another scan 10 days later where i got dated between 7.5 weeks to 8.3 weeks go figure, and again a lovely strong heartbeat. as my last pregnancy ended at 10 weeks, I have another scan in 12 days when i will be 10 - 10.5 days pregnant so i would not worry too much. they have never figured where my bleeding is coming from but nothing to do with womb or baby and all is tiketyboo in there, hopefully stays that way. they said at scan they have loads of bleeders come in and it is really common, as there is so much extra bloodflow to cervix and neck of womb, so any irritation can cause a bleed. hope all goes well, sorry for rambling just wanted to try and put your mind at rest a bit xxx

I had a miscarriage that started new years day last month! I was approx 6wks...it started with brown spotting for 2 days then bright red bleeding, i then had an ultrasound to confirm etc! Did a test wk n half later to make sure hcg back to 0 & sure enough it was negative. Anyway on 1st feb id been having a few symptoms so I did a test & BFP! I was so worried and still am that the same will happen again, about a 2 weeks ago i had 5 days of brown spotting...I thought i was losing the baby again but it never turned to red. So I got booked in for a scan on Tuesday just gone, they did internal as my bladder wasnt full enough . Straight away I saw my little jelly bean approx 6wks 2days they said...I could see the heart beating away it was amazing . They put the brown blood down to old blood from implantation. I know its easier said than done but stay positive

My very light brown discharge has increased a bit since yesterday. Looks more like soy sauce (sorry to be graphic), but still NO red NO cramping.

I got results from my hcg today, which is concerning me.
Tuesday 6800
Thursday 9000

A rise of only about 30%. The doctor said this was inconclusive and they would like to see at least a 50% rise. Anyone had a similar situation and it turned out OK?

Heartbeat, but it is too low. Gestational sac, but it is too small. Couple with low HCG and spotting, this is going to be a miscarriage. Waiting for the little heart to stop.
