Brown Disharge post ERPC (UPDATED)

As you know i MC a fortnight ago and had a ERPC done the next day. I bled for about 6 days after the ERPC and have since been ok. However, in the last 2 days i have brown discharge when i wipe (with sometimes tiny specks in it). No pain or anything and it doesnt smell.

Last night, after having my brown discharge for 2 days, i had a surge of bright red blood. It literally only went on for 3 minutes and after a few wipes it stopped (but there was a surge there). i thought perhaps AF had come but it stopped after a few minutes and i havent bled since. Now i am soooo confused as to what the hell happened there. Now no discharge or bleeding.

I have a simple cyst on my left ovary and a corpus luteum cyst on my right. Perhaps i bled when ovulated or perhaps something else just came away.

Anyone else had a mad mini bleed like that out of the blue following a MC?

I don't know as am still waiting to go through this. If it doesn't stop phone the EPU? Or your GP?

Im sure it is just the old bits of blood coming away andis normal, but if your at all worried call the epau.

I had a d&c 4 weeks ago hun and bled for 2 weeks after, then on to brown discharge also no pain / smell and even now discharge is a very light brown colour, seems to be getting lighter by the day so going on that I would say normal but if it concerns you do get it checked out.

Thanks, im sure its normal too and i notice it is lighter now... You just evaluate everything about yourself following a MC don't you!

I had a very small amount of brown discharge after the d&c, even after my first af! when i went for my check up, there was no sign of infection and my doc said my body was most prob just doing a clean up (its job) and that its common. When i ovulated however it has stopped, (yay) I know after a mc we tend to evaluate every little spec :S and as you say there is no pain or smell i think it will clear up on its own.

Update: Weird but 2 hours ago i started to bleed red blood now. I cant decide if its AF or not, but maybe it is.

I would have thought its too soon to get my AF

I guess i will monitor it to see how much i bleed to see if its AF. But i cant have ovulated ??

Gosh hun, hoping for you that it is AF but I would def keep a check on it, you didn't have a long bleed after so maybe it's a carry on from there. I've also heard that your body picks up from where you would have been in your cycle at the time of m/c so I guess if you have a shortish cycle that may make sense. Confusing things our bodies huh, I thought I knew mine till a few weeks ago!! I know what you mean about evaluating everything, I do it all the time now.
Hope everythings ok, I would say if you have no pain, fever etc nothing to worry too much about but may be worth checking out just for piece of mind - I see you are WTT so fingers crossed for you that it is AF so you can TTC again.
