Brown spotting/discharge experience?

I never spotted in my previous pregnancies, but since last week I have had brown spotting. I had my NT scan on Monday and baby was measuring two days ahead and everything looked amazing.
This spotting, although relatively light, is very unnerving to me! I called my OB and spoke with the nurse. She said to bed rest until at least the weekend, and no heavy lifting (including my daughter) until next week. I can bedrest today, but my husband has a meeting he has to go to every Friday.
Anyone have experiences with brown spotting and discharge? Should I be concerned?

I haven't personally, but I know spotting can be pretty normal. I wouldn't worry too much (I know.. impossible) because you just had a scan and everything looked well. If you continue to spot through the weekend maybe you can call your Dr. and have them book you for a follow up scan.
