Where did you get your buckets for storing dirty nappies from? I have seen some in a cheap shop (think wilkos but not 100%) but was bright green and red and was really hoping for something a little more neutral! Is it worth spending the extra and getting a bucket designed for purpose or do the cheapies work just as well?

I just use a box with a lid....no need to bother with anything specific!

I've got a very bright red and blue one from Wilkinsons - not particularly pretty but it does the job and I couldn't justify the cost of an official nappy bucket for the colour.

We got ours from an e-bay shop but it was this one in cream and was only about £1-£2 cheaper on e-bay than from here.

I have this one and its way too small, I cant fit a days worth in it never mind 2 :grr:

Honestly I prefer my proper nappy buckets to the cheap Wilkinson's one I bought. The one I got from Wilkinson's doesn't have a handle and it's bright red and blue which is out of place in our flat. I was lucky in that I got my first proper nappy bucket with a council incentive subsidised pack and the second with a load of preloved nappies I bought. If you're on a tight budget or not bothered about a handle/colour, other bins/boxes are fine, but I would buy a nappy bucket again if I started from scratch.

i got mine with my bambino mio nappy set and have to say its quite a good one - white and purple so very neutral :D

I use the purple container that all the johnsons baby products came in that you get from asda/babies r us etc....

at least the container is getting some use...

I would not have thought that would be big enough (unless i am thinking of something different!)

I use a medium pedal bin  Think I paid £2 for it somehwere! It holds about 8-10 nappies depending on what they are!

iv got this one...its bright pink so not netural but i can fit 3 days of nappies in it! (25litre)

They look good and not as garish as the wilkos ones i could happily live with a purple
