Buddies for first round of Clomid?

Jess my cycles vary between 25-120 days when not medicated. All I know for sure is that I didn't ovulate on 50mg but I did ovulate on cd14 @ 100mg. So I am hoping and praying it works that way this time around.

I am lucky that hubby has super swimmers. In saying that he has just left to go away with work for 4 days. I told him to be home by the weekend so we make sure not to miss our window of opportunity.

Hello ladies I'm on my first round of clomid. I have a daughter of 17 but have not been able to conceive this time around of trying.

Went for my scan today to see if any folicles were getting ready and I have one either side. I was happy to find that out but don't want to get my hopes up.

Lolly thats so exciting. I have never had scans while being on clomid. The only testing I ever had was a CD21 blood test to test my progesterone levels (which spike post ovulation). I will have no monitoring for at least 3 cycles.

Lolly is your daughter 17 years or 17 months old? my girls are 12years and 13months so I have a decent age gap.

Finished my first cycle of Clomid (50mg for 5 days, days 5-9) on May 24, and supposedly I ovulated anywhere between the 25th through until the 31st. We did it like rabbits.

I'm thinking I'm about 13dpo and experiencing the most painful boobs EVER, and have had on and off cramps (painful twinges) for the last 4 days.

I virtually had no symptoms with the Clomid. I took it at night because I had heard the symptoms could be really bad. I did encounter really vivid dreams, but that's it!

What are the chances of conceiving on the 1st round?

Do you normally ovulate without clomid? I

I guess I would assume if it helped you ovulate as normal than it would give you normal chances, buuuut I'm just guessing haha!

Any other ladies know about the chances of get a BFP on the first cycle?

squish...I conceived on my first round of clomid, it is very possible, I was taking 50mg cd 2-6, ended in MC though.

Took last dose of clomid last night, so should be ovulating in about 7 days...last cycle clomid I ovulated cd14 so im assuming will be the same this time.

Fingers crossed it works like last time and I ovulate around CD14. So now I just have to wait for hubby to get home on Friday then act like two horny teenagers

New side effect: my vision has gone weird. It's hard to explain but it's like a stone light effect as in if I wave my hand in front of my face it's like my hand has a trail if that makes sense? Apparently it is a normal side effect that should wear off. Just strange!

I hear about the vision thing! To me though that is kind of a good sign right because it's affecting your body enough to cause side effects so hopefully it's enough to cause ovulation too!

I have a question that you don't have to answer, are any of you plus sized like me and pcos? My doctor is cautious about clomid working for those with pcos who are overweight...

Jess I am 80kg or 176lb and only 5ft1in so I am plus size. My FS told us we should try to go for a walk a few times a week as he said that would help us increase our chances. I am slowly losing weight but still carrying about 5kg for my prepreg weight with Ziva.

Hey ladies! I'm joining if you don't mind. I start my first round of Clomid (50mg) tonight (CD5-9). I'm so excited but also very nervous about the possible effects (which is why I'm taking it at night).

I'm 23, my fiance is 25, and we've been TTC for almost 2 years now. I was prescribed Clomid because of the length of time we've been trying. We're both healthy and we've tried just about everything (supplements, Pre-seed, ConceivePlus, SMEP, Geritol, OPK's, etc.). I have very regular periods but the first day is always so painful that I can barely walk. My Dr. thinks I have endo and she gave me the choice to either do a laproscopy or start Clomid, so I chose Clomid.

We're getting married in a month, so hopefully the side effects won't be awful!

Thanks everyone! Today will be my 4th day of taking 100mg and I don't have any side effects except for being tired after I take it but I take it at night so it's not that bad. I told my husband mood swings are a side effect, his reply was "just a normal day"...haha.

I've been ttc for almost 2 years now and have just been prescribed clomid 50mg d2-6 for three months. I cant take it till AF comes which i hope wll be in about three weeks, unless of ofcourse nature has played the best trick of all and i get a BFP! i'm 29 DH is 47 so we want to get things going, we weren't expecting to take this long. DH has children from a previous marriage and i have had all the tests, i showed that i ovulated, the scan showed an enlarged overy which may or may not be PSOC as they couldn't see any other indications, it was all really vague. All hormones came back perfect and it showed i ovulate. though my cycle can be anything from 26-38 days. i have been using OPK and getting positives around day 11-13 but no luck as yet. DH test came back as super man sperm (sorry if tmi) We are really hoping the clomid works, and at this stage anything is worth trying. im just worried it wont. just wanted a little reassurance. Hope you ladies are all going well with your Clomid, Baby dust to everyone!

Hello ladies,
I am new to this also. I was on the depo shot for 6 1/2 years. My DS is now 7 years old. My husband and I are going for number two. We are both 24. Since I was on the depo shot so long, I haven't had an AF. I was given provera this month to induce a AF and then clomid 100mg on CD 5-9. I have been testing with first response +opk since CD10, and still nothing. However, the last two days I have had really tender nipples. Anybody else in the same boat?
