budget photography

any ideas ladys we are trying to keep the cost of our wedding as low as we can so need budget photography we was thinking of just getting a family member to do it but then we realised that all the family members that are any good with a camera are involved it at least one of the pictures or more :-/

you could ask some family members to take photos but also ask anyone who takes photos to give you copies or ask a friend to take some photos when the family members are in them.

true suppose i could get Sil to take them she isnt going to be a bridesmaid or anything so there will only be like 1 or 2 pics that she will be in for our main album as i think we are also keeping the photography to a minimum for the ceremony i mite just get a few disposables for the receptiona nd give them to a couple of people who are good with a camera then get them developed for a seperate album

I am sure some of your guests will have cameras so just ask them to email them/put the on cd for you. You might find they have some good photos that you really like.

ask through guests etc see if anyone wants to do it if not ask a few if they will do you a disc so you can compile own album

I would keep an eye out for aspiring photographers and for people wanting to get experience, etc. I've been getting into photography last year and this year. At the beginning of the year, I did a wedding for a friends mum. I charged her AU$250!! If they had of hired a pro photographer it would have costed them a lot more!! You'll be surprised how many people would be interested. You could advertise through networking sites, etc. I find a lot of upcoming photographers usually have a facebook page for their work so you could maybe start there. Good luck xx

Ring your local college nsee uf they have a photography course, if so would any of the students want to get any experience and building a portfolio !
