Hello all,

I've posted this in baby club too but basically I'm after some reviews of the bugaboo bee. I'm on the verge of buying it, just having a last minute wobble over the price and wondering if it is worth it?! Any opinions appreciated!

I've had two of them! Currently got a stokke xplory. I loved my bee, very lightweight, easy to put up etc. Lots of different hoods to change when you get bored etc. my negative was that it was very low down. Have you had a test drive? Are you buying new or preloved? I know new you can get them for as little as £360 sometimes but often around £420. Preloved then tend to go for £225 upwards. There is a few groups on fb that i would recommended having a look. Bugaboo and pramaholics buy and sell :) xx

Thanks! I've had a good test in John Lewis and was planning on buying brand new. Did you ever have problems with the wheels shimmying?! Keep reading about it!

No but I only had mine for a few months before buying something else! I have a serious pushchair problem! John Lewis had them last summer for £356 was a bargain! There customer service is fab x

I've had bee pluses since they first came out in 2010 :) I had a silver and then I upgraded to a black frame last year, which I love! I've tried so many prams, I've had bugaboo cameleons and buffalos, I've had A stokke xplory V4 which I bloody hated! I currently have 10 hoods for my bee, I love that I can change it a lot. It's not a great pram off road but I bought a old mothercare offroader for when we go to the woods, that way I don't care if it gets muddy either :)

It's a fab city pram, I love mine. It was great for the tube and the bus. And now we have moved its easy to chuck in the back of the car. It's a one piece fold which I love and really easy to steer/fold and change from parent to forward facing.

My annoyance is that the back when you pull it up as kiddos get bigger slips from the third setting to the second.

Oh and I didn't use from newborn but you can get a carry cot that attaches with the car seat adapters. I think it's a micralight torro!

I loved our Bee Plus. Nice and light and can fit down the aisle of buses here so I didn't have to get on at the back like many people with prams. The kids always seemed very happy in there and it was SO easy to push and steer, unlike others I tried.

I'd definitely say it's well worth it. We had a Mamas and Papas pram first, I think it was £350 but when I didn't like it we sold it and could only get £50-ish even though it had been used a few times a week for less than 6 months and was in perfect condition. The Bee has been used pretty much every day for three years (2 kids) and I'd still expect to get a few hundred for it. So it's a bigger upfront cost but it's retained value much better AND was a much nicer pram to use.

I've never had a problem with the wheels. Well, if you run really fast with it they can wobble a bit, but it's not a sports pram so I think that's fair enough.

It is okay on grass, cobbles, through 2 inches of snow, gravel that is fairly firm. I wouldn't use it on a hike though.

We used it with a Lascal buggy board and even with a 4 year old on the board, the whole thing was still easier to push than other prams I tried with one child in them.

Thanks to everyone for your replies they're really useful and definitely made my decision to buy one easier :D
