Hay loopyIuan,

Yr I went the doctors 4 it booked it n 3 hrs later I'd had it,
I'm nt too sur bout any side affects I jst knw that they are urging all pregnant women to av it dune cos of it! Bt I think d side effects r jst that u may get the touch of flu bt I aint had anything frm it!
Oooo glad I'm nt the only 1 lukin at baby stuff wantin to start buyin, me n my oh av already picked the pram we want and while out christmas shoppin today I found myself lukin in al the baby clothes and wantin to buy, gud job I had me mum wit me ovawise I'd have a wardrobe full of baby clothes nw lol!!

My ms has drove me mad al day I aint had it this bad b4 bt I wasn't actually throwin up (sorry bout how I put it) and iv eat a dozen oranges today also cnt stop eatin them
Iv dune nufin bt pee all day aswel, I dnt knw if it wears off, I thought it mite of got a bit worst with the baby putin pressure on it more, think il av to research that or ask me midwife wen I go nxt thursday ( which I'm rather excited bout)
I'm currently not wrkin at the moment as I had to giv my job up wen I fell pregnant cos I wrkd wit food n was throwin up quite a bit n far too much heavy liftin plus my boss was an a**e,

Hi Ladies x

Hope you both had a good Christmas? Mine has been OK, had a brust pipe in a flat we rent out which has caused so much damage and then that afternoon I had a small bleed. it didnt last very long, just literally when I had a wee (sorry TMI) but never nice to see is it? It then went brownish and has completely stopped, im not too worried about it, it was nothing compared to what I had at 8 weeks, I have had no cramping or any pain at all so Im sure things are fine - besides I still has MS and sore boobs - which is reassuring! AND my hospital, well, useless is not even a strong enough word! I tried calling the Early Preg Unit - got through to every other ward but them! Then went through main switch board and still couldnt get through so I gave up! My husband and I were talking about using another hospital in our county because it really doesnt full us with confidence that we cant get through!!

What do you ladies think? Should I try and get another scan to check?

Sounds lik uv had a bad christmas mine was ok cos spent most of it sit my family gud job tho cos ovawise I'd been freezin as my boiler is broke
U sound rather calm bout the bleed I think I'd b goin crazy bt lik u sed uv had a worse bleed dan that!
I knw I would demand a scan to make sure bt I suppose to depends on u, I knw my sister who is also pregnant only a few weeks ahead of me has had mre than 1 bleed, she had a scan 4 her 1st bleed bt she doesn't go wen she has 1 unless she's in serve pain or its floodin!!
I suppose it depends on how u feel ure self they say the mother instinct is always right so I'd say go wit how u feel bout it!!
Somedays I only have the constent needin d toilet n sore breasts on ova days my ms comes bak wit revenge 4 a few days and den goes!
Got midwife tomoz I'm al excited cnt wait hopefully I get to here my bambino's heartbeat

Merry Christmas to you both! Sorry for the late message but I have been in bed for pretty much a week now and just looking at baby and bump on my tablet which is not so good for typing.

Loopyluan - how are you now? I hope you are feeling better and I dont really know what to say about getting another scan apart from do whatever you feel is right. Would a scan help put your mind to rest?

Welsh_mummy2b - hope everything goes well at midwife's tomorrow

As for me - I have been pretty sick with ms, although not actually sick, just feeling sick all the time and it's so hard to eat anything....and so so tired so I spend most of my days in bed zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

My clothes are getting really tight now so I decided to go maternity clothes shopping and when I tried on some maternity trousers they were MASSIVE. Maybe I dont need them yet. But nothing else fits!

Hay midwife went wel, gutted didn't get to hear bambino's heartbeat as she sed it would b best nt to incase she couldn't find it due to the fact of my uterus is still in my pelvis n she also robbed 3 lots of me blood cheeky of it!
She did say that ms shows dat ur baby is growin vry healthy as its a sign of a healthy pregnancy
I'm findin that I feel hugh at the moment n un comfortable in most things bt iv got a pair of joggin bottoms that are tqo sizes too big dat I wear wen goin out my flat, jst roll up the waist and wen I'm at home I stay in my pj's

Hi Ladies,

Im feeling fine, didnt go and see the docs after the last bleed, still having my sickness so feel reassured that everything is fine.

Booking my Nucheal scan tomorrow, having it done privately, so should get to see the baby again next week!

I've also given into temptation, Guy talked me into it really, we're going to find out the sex!

We did our first bit of baby shopping yesterday too, bought a moses basket, a bouncy chair and a few other little bits, Guy is really excited now!

Loopluan - glad your feeling better and it's not long till you get to see your baby again, yippeee

Welsh_mummy2b - glad your mw appointment went well and I TOTALLY agree with the pj's thing. I practically live in my pj's at the moment!

I have been REALLY sick the last few days with a gastrointestinal bug (stomach flu) and Im so so scared it's affected baby. It was so bad I nearly passed out on the bathroom floor and I was drenched in sweat but shaking from feeling freezing cold!

I can't stop worrying and now I'm so paranoid because my ms seems to be going away. My bbs are still tender but not as much as earlier on. Do symptoms tend to level out a bit more after 10 weeks? I dont have my scan until 17 Jan so I will be going out of my mind until then!

That is such a lovely pic! You must be so excited!

I can't wait for my scan on monday! A little scared though because I have had really bad stomach problems. Was at the hospital today to see my Specialist and they gave me some medication so hopefully that will take care of the pain. Fxd I can post a pic on monday too!

Raisin - Im sure your little baby is going to be perfect! I look forward to seeing your pic! How are you feeling now?

Symptom wise, my MS is still hanging on a bit, yesterday it was lunchtime when it appeared and I was driving! BUT didnt go as far to be sick, a packet of Cheese & Onion McCoys put me right! I know now that if I keep snacking small amounts it stays away! Been feeling the little flutters too which is fab! and my boobs are back to being a bit sore and getting a bit bigger now..

We're starting to get the nursery all ready, its cleared out and the bits we have bought so far, are in there. We think we have found the cot so I cant wait to get that in there! Really want a sleigh style cot/bed. Guy is doing all the searching - hes been fab! He starts travelling soon with work, so we're trying to get all the big heavy moving stuff done!

Keep well ladies! Im about to devour a bag of tooty frooties!

Really chuffed everything went wel wit ya scan rasin its amazing!
The breastfeedin debate was dat he wantd to b able to feed baby also and didn't lik d fact dat if we were out n baby wantd feedin he was worried that I'd jst get dem out 4 al 2 see so I could feed lol! Bt iv reassured him dat wen we need to go out il express and express a few tyms a day so dat he cn also feed d baby! Wel chuffed I won it had a feeling he would stick to sayin no!!
My ms seems to av disappeared at the moment bt its startin to tell me wot I cn n can't eat such as, I've been buy d same sauages for a couple of weeks n had a sausage buttie last nite n it decided it didn't want d sausage n made me threw it bak up bt was jst the sausage no bread or anything, wel confused :S
Got midwife on thursday, hopin to hear baby's heartbeat

I knew it would fine! We're all going to be moving over to 2nd Trimester soon then!!

Im feeling fine, my boobs have started hurting a bit again and feel full? just full and round! Im not use to is, usually im just a little B Cup!!

Im working from home today as our cot arrives! We ordered a sleigh cot/bed and I cant wait to see it! Im also in the middle of staining a chest of drawers that my mom gave to me, she used it when I was a baby and it still has the original drawer lining paper she put in for me.. quite a special thing to have

So we can all get excited together now that WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!!

Sorry been soo long again, jst tryin to find a decant flat
Midwife went wel and dnt av to go again intil 24th feb! Cnt wait nw 4 my 2nd scan 2 cum throu bt got lik an ova 7 weeks or sumthing!! Really wana knw wot I'm avin
Got my moses basket on order and payin it off nw den get al d ova bits n bobs to get!!
Really glad my ms has disappeared nw bt cnt move too fast wen getin up as I get cramps lol!
My breasts r stil sore n seem to b growin rapidly!! Think I'm guna av to invest in a new bra or 2
At d moment my cravings r for. Pure orange juice goin throu loads of it!

Hi ladies

How are you both doing? Its been a while since any updates!

For me, Im feeling the little one move regularly now which is great! Guy cant wait to feel her too! I had my 2nd Midwife appt yesterday to check blood results - all fine. We listenend to the babys heart beat too which was AMAZING and has made me buy a doppler today!! I've not been too well the last couple of weeks - Migraine for 4 days last week, rasied temp and middle ear infection - paracetomol was just not working so got prescribed Co-drymol which really helped! Then Saturday I had a dizzy spell almost fainted and my midwife confirmed yesterday that my BP has dropped dramatically so need to avoid standing for long periods!

ANYHOW! Apart from all that Im feeling fine! And loving developing my bump!
