Bump dropping lower?

I've noticed over the last few days that my bump has dramatically dropped!

The midwife at the hospital the other day told me my baby is breech but my community midwife said he's head down... so I'm a bit confused.

I'm scared he's going to come early with my bump dropping so much, could this happen? And are there usually any other clues that they're ready to come?

Your bump does drop as baby starts to engage.. maybe its that?

My babys been engaged since 35 weeks, yet over the past 2 days my bump has dropped dramatically, i have heard that it can be a sign that labors on its way too. Hoping it is for me lol x

not to sure hun, my bump was ALWAYS very low, i went 2 weeks early, so not to sure x

My bump recently dropped (3 days ago) and it was rather drastic. I was carrying low the majority of the pregnancy, but was able to measure with my hand the space between my bump and my crotch. Now I can barely fit my hand there.

You can drop/engage up to 4 weeks before due date, and still be 2 weeks late. Only LO will be able to determine when labour begins :>
