Hey all! I have a question for you, when did you notice you started showing with your first?

I have a small frame (5'2 and fairly slim build) but due to my love of junk food, I have a tummy pudge, just mainly on my lower stomach and some on my sides. Always get asked when I am due, even before I got pregnant. Have already started wearing maternity pants, as they fit better with the added bloating. As you can see below, I already look a few months along haha. Doesn't help that the rest of me (arms, legs, bum) are small.

Any idea how to differentiate between normally belly fat and baby bump? Will parts of my tummy feel firmer or look different?

We are both 7 weeks 3 days and you're showing already and I'm not :( lol I guess baby bump would protrude out more and it would feel more harder.

Lol no I'm not showing, this is actually my pre-pregnancy belly which is the problem, because I already look like I'm showing!

Ohh I get it now! Sorry, preggo brain! lol. I have the same problem! I look like I'm at least 4 months even though I lost some weight. I guess we won't know until at least 4-5 months.
:(

Lol you probably will notice sooner than me since this is my first but you have had several.

Lol that probably sucks. Wish I had that excuse, but really I just eat a lot of chocolate hahaha.

i looked similar to you,.. bit smaller... first bub... didn show til 18-20 weeks...

anything with first baby before 14 weeks is bloat coz bubs isnt even out of the pelvis yet

I started showing around 12 weeks with my first, and by 16 weeks had a noticeable baby bump. The pudge seemed to disperse and my belly felt hard.

I'm 10 and a half weeks and my belly is noticeably bigger even though it wasn't completely flat to begin with.. I have had multiple comments from a few people who already know about the pregnancy saying that I'm starting to show already and damn do I feel it! My tummy pokes right out now and has a round 'bump' like shape and when I'm standing up its quite firm and I've never had that before.
P.s this is my first baby :)

I was bloated up to about 11 weeks - in the mornings I look normal and by the evenings I am massive lol.

Didn't start properly showing a bump til I was around 17/18 weeks....can't really describe it, your bump will be firm and usually quite a bit higher than you think - it doesn't 'drop' until your close to labour/due date

x

I've got a very little bump now - I'm 14 weeks tomorrow. Mine was all bloat before about 12 weeks and it was only after this I started to notice it was still there in the morning rather than going down! If people don't know me I don't think they would notice much though, can still hide it under clothes and look completely normal. This is my first btw.

Same here, was not massive before & I could suck in my stomach, but now I can't and have to let it all hang out :haha:

Was wearing a dress yesterday and my husband was like omg look at that, normally he doesn't get much more south than the ladies because they have tripled in size so the belly must be noticeable haha

First baby I was noticeably showing around 18-19 weeks :)

Thanks ladies! I know I won't be showing anytime soon, even though my normal pre-preg belly looks like I'm already pretty pregnant lol! Bloating is definitely worse at the end of the day I find too

Im 12 weeks with number 2 and don't show yet, im so ready to start showing now .

Im 5ft2 and size 10, I didnt start showing until after my 12 week scan, same this time round as well. My belly is only just starting to stick out a little
