Bumps2be2011

yeah for glee, will have to watch it friday as oh is watching wrestling. oh well x december will come round quick. i should really start getting bits as we have xmas and calebs birthday x

Oh yay Leah! That's very exciting to hear - bring on December (although I bet like me you're already counting down the days!!)

I had a very strange AF last month - I have always been so regular, so I think the stress of house and land shopping must have had an impact . So I'm eagerly awaiting this months to make sure I'm back on track... so at this stage I don't know when I'll be ovulating, but I certainly don't think you're strange because if I could know now I would have already calculated it too! :haha: I love the idea of testing on Christmas or my b'day though (dec 28), so I hope that works out!

Faye - I hope you're feeling better! :hugs: "Bunged up and hating it" does not sound like fun at all! :nope: Xx.

Oh I'm so happy for you two trying in December!! It's defo normal to have worked it all out, I have for June and I'm praying I stay regular! Although AF was a day early this month which means one less day! :haha:

What are we all doing today? Hope you are feeling better Faye and everyone else is ok xxx

i'm off to baby club so that wont help my want for another baby x i'm feeling a bit better i think seeing the sun has helped lol x

Wow Danielle! Look at your ticker! I am sooooooo jealous! (but so excited for you too!) Xx.

Morning everyone! :flower:

Actually got a full night sleep last night as the neighbours were quiet - bonus! Personally, I think I have counted my eggs before they hatch as it were, as I'm not even off the pill yet :haha: :haha: so I have naively worked out my dates based on me falling straight into a regular cycle. I get to come off it in September :happydance: but as I only have enough packs left for June, I'm trying to convince OH to let me finish it then and save me a trip to the docs for a new prescription!

Hope you all have a lovely day, off to school now! x

leah very sneaky but a good idea x i'm up early because had to do some apple for calebs breakfast then get him ready because oh is having hair cut at 9 so need to be out of flat by 8 x might do some window shopping x

Very sneaky indeed Leah! I hope your cycle falls into place in line with your plans. I haven't been on the pill for over a year now (I needed to come off all medications when I was having some testing done and just never went back on it... :haha:) and mine have been very well behaved since - apart from last month but I have put that down to stress.

My DH actually prefers me not on the pill. He says the pill makes makes me emotional  but I tried to tell him that being emotional is just part of being female! :haha:

Faye - did you see anything nice when you were shopping? I have terrible lucky with shopping. If I was window shopping, there would be a list a mile long of things I want to buy... but when I have money to burn I can never find anything!! :dohh:

My pill does make me horrendously emotional - I cried at 101 Dalmations the other day for gods sake! :haha: But OH is convinced I'll be even worse off of it. I have to hand it to him, he has done his homework on it after my bugging him for so long, and wants me to stay on until his birthday so I'm not super touchy then!

Got home from Uni an hourish ago, and my washing machine has backed up into the sink and flooded the kitchen! Well annoyed after saying the other day how nicely things were going my way - sods law that! :dohh: x x

bec i only bought a top but i'm pushchair shopping at moment and i cant find one i like x

Ooooh are you going to invest in a double for when number 2 comes along Faye, or do you think Caleb will want to walk all the time by then? x

i'm hoping caleb will be walking alot ye. I think i will invest in a buggy board. Although i do like the phil &ted pushchairs which you can have an extra seat x

Car died today as well! Doesn't look like May will be my month - it'll most certainly be an expensive one boo. And we just bothered to pay the huge insurance on it LOL my luck is just amazing. x x

hi everyone hope you are all ok x sorry about your car leah. Whats everyone got planned for the bank holiday. I'm doing nothing. Britains got talent is on soon so will watch that. I've been thinking about baby #2 and really want a girl all little dresses and pink stuff x x

Ohh that sucks about your car Leah! Especially because of all the heartache with the stupid insurance. :growlmad:

I have already picked out the pram I want... I'm assuming that's what you ladies mean by "pushchair"? :wacko:hehe. Sometimes I forget that I live so far away from you all until someone says something like this that I don't understand! :haha:

But yes, I already have a shopping list, with a pram, cot, change table, the lot! Can't wait until I actually have a bump to buy it all for!

it doesn't hurt to be prepared. Not to long though just over 6months it will fly. X

Wow Faye love your ticker! Will Caleb be about 18 months when you try for no. 2 then? Mine is starting to scare me a little now, but in a good way!

The part we would need for the car would, if we bought it new, cost more than we paid for the car! So we have our mechanic friend on the look out for a used part, which should only set us back about £100... despite having paid out all that money for insurance, and having the tax due next month, it would still be worth it to keep her on the road for another year (fx'd). I love my car, I don't want to get rid of her! It has been a hassle this week though, especially as OH had to provide holiday cover for the Bicester store for work, which is about 25miles away! He has been begrudging using public transport all week - I'm glad he finally knows how I feel!

Absolutely nothing wrong with being prepared Bec! Personally, I don't think there is any difference between deciding what you want to buy at this stage, and saving money away. If we had more space in our flat, I'd probably even go as far as to buy certain things, because I know then I can't spend the money on something else! But I think that would scare the OH a little too much - he's not keen on letting people know until we are pregnant, as he thinks they will disagree with us, or say we're too young. Boring! Who cares what other people think really?!

Feel like I ranted a bit there haha! x

Hi girls

I have window shopped loads and know what i want pretty much
I would never buy anything tho as oh would go mad :haha:
I quit smoking 4 days ago and all the money i would of spent is being saved towards a dress and shoes for my birthday and some other bits and then it will all go towards bubba.
Time is moving so fast and we are still no where near the position we need to be in - i hope the next couple of months will see a dramatic change.

Hope everyone is ok

xxx

We're no where near the position we need to be in either Angie, I really wouldn't worry about it though! Things can change so quickly that I am almost certain things will be entirely different when the time comes  x x

They always say theres never a 'right time'. i lost my job when i was pregnant and dreaded it but we are managing.
Leah i dont think matters on age everyone always has something to say.
Angie well done for not smoking the money will soon mount up xx
I finaly got a ticker for ttc and its quite scary. this time last year i was pregnant and now im planning baby #2.
leah-yeah i think the age gap will be nice and even if it takes a few months to concieve caleb would be soon going to nursery for half days so days would be as manic but im sure they will xx
