Bumps2be2011

I've got no idea about sigs hun...Maybe just post a thread in the sig section maybe somebody can be creative for us.

Seriously I was tempted at my 20wk scan....hubby was already in afghan and I thought the whole time if something would happen to him out there I would give me peace of mind that he at least knew the sex of the baby. I thought if she tells me know that it's faith, but he was back up and wouldn't show his bits at all. lol

My mate was really annoyed with me cause I didn't want to find out. lol

 yeah i would loves twins sooo much, my OH's dad is a twin so is his gran from his mums side, dont think there is anychance for me? i know the isnt any on my dads side but not to sure about my mum she was adopted :\

so what did every one do today?

i had to go vodafone to sent my phone off cos it got ran over by a bus :dohh: then went and got shaya weighed 13lb 15oz :cloud9:

now im just chilling at home watching holyoaks :happydance:

i want to be on team yellow when the time comes... however my OH tells me that i don't do well when there is a suprise that i can find out about lol . i really do hope i can wait and see though.

i am waiting to try for #1 too Amy and Danielle - so we can be childless and impatient together .

We're going for a yellow bump again next time as well. It's the one surprise left in this whole thing so we want to just go with it lol Plus it was so muhc fun last time. Hubby shouted 'Well....what is it?' about 2 minutes after he was born lol. The MW's hadn't even checked lol

Shazzy - Hmm that is odd. My LMP was 15th Jan and that's what they went by as it's 9 months and 1 week. Hmmmm very odd lol. But still...it's not an exact science, they come when they're ready lol.

Boys are supposed to be easier....ermmmmm mine eats me out of house and home, will only sleep on me during the day, has grown through 4 sets of clothes in as many months, and is a bit of a tearaway, but he's gorgeous!! Girls are supposed to be a bit more 'challenging' but everyone I know says that once they get past a year, girls get easier as they are much less adventurous. I don't know...Earl is very independent already so I guess we'll have to see how he goes.

I would love twins, but judging by how big I was with Earl I dont think I could cope lol. Also, no history at all on any sides of the immediate family so highly unlikely.

I'm hopeless with all things designer-y - sorry. I know there are a few ladies who do a lot of sigs for people. I'll see if I can track one of them down.

Have a good evening ladies x

Defo no twins for me - thanks. lol

I don't think boys are easier....I worked with small babies in nursery and I had some really easy going girls and some hardcore boys. lol I think it always depends on the baby.

I'm the 1st person who screames "I hate surprises", but I could totally live with this one. :cloud9: It was fab to imagine how "she" would be one day and the next day how "he" would be.

Some ppl find the going shopping for a surprise baby a bit more difficult. I totally disagree. I bought the basics in white and as soon as LO was born I got the mothercare catalog out and send hubby out into town buying things. :happydance:

I'd love a yellow bump - my best friend had a yellow bump, and we all had so much fun betting on what she had in there! Me and the OH guessed right, but as it's 50/50 I guess that is not much to be proud of lol. But the OH wants to know what to expect, so it's still a moot point for us

My Nan had twins, before my Mum was born, but unfortunately one was still born and the other passed away at 3 months, so I never met my twin uncles. My OH has twins 2 generations back in his family. Not sure if we could cope with twins! xxx

amiee- mine started on the 20th (i think) strange lol

i would like to be yellow, but i was getting annoyed not knowing what my mate had but i was convinsed it was a boy but nope it was a gal, im still in shock 7 weeks on :/ lol

My OHs Dad is a twin and his nan on his mums side is too! I'd love to have twins, girls though as some of my male friends are twins and they haven't spoken for 5 years so I'd be scared if that happening! Weird I know. Hope you are all having a nice evening xxx

i have just put caleb to bed and now watching glee. Cant wait for next year to come x x

i was ok till shaya started playing up :( she is going bed now soi can relax (i hope lol) xxx

I hope you are right! With so few things left unknown in this day and age I would really love to keep something as special as this a suprise!

I do agree that you can shop for the basics with neutral colours. Hey, who am I kidding!?! I just can't wait to actually shop for a LO at all, let alone be concerned with what colours to buy! lol. :dohh:

Hello ladies! Well it's Tuesday, we are one day closer to TTC! Am feeling in a very positive mood today!! Xx

I can't wait to shop for LO, as soon as we've had the 12 week scan I know I'm gonna be out there buying things!! Is anyone saving up yet? Or going to soon? Xx

i'm trying to save just so we have enough money to buy the new stuff. I really want a girl can wait for january because i will go to the hospital to make sure diabetes is good so i know i'm nearer x x x

I wouldn't say saving up for a LO as such, but we are saving... if that makes sense!?! We are good savers and the reason we are WTT is that we are waiting until we reach a certain point in our mortgage before we have another mouth to feed.

However I think after my OH sees the list of things I am looking to buy for the future bump he will wish we had a separate savings account

I think I will need to see my consultant before we TTC again as I am epileptic! I'd love to have midwife led care but I don't think they will let me. I guess it's for the best though! I can't wait for July this year too as we have lots going on and it will only be a year until it's time :D x

Yeh that makes sense! We are similar. We also want to have some of our student debt paid off too so it's just finding that balance really I think!

I found buying neutral is easier lol. I had everything in newborn and 0-3 in neutral colours and they're all packed away ready. You'll be given sooooooo much in blue/pink it's not a worry at all.

We're on a strict budget and we have debt to repay but in my mind while it will get repaid eventually it's not at the expense of living. We have paid off £7k of a £18k debt over the last 3 years, so we're not doing too badly lol.

I can't wait til September.....we're off on our hols and it's my *cough* 27th birthday. It's getting booked on Monday

Hope we're all ok ladies....Earl had me up from 3am last night so I'm absolutely shattered now. May follow his lead and take a nap lol.

Ooh exciting where you off on holiday? I can't wait to go on holiday! Xx
