burning boob?

Hi In my 'best' boob I have regular hot red burning sensations, what cause this? Thanks

Of your boob is hot and red then it could be mastitis - check your temp or see a doc. Check your boob for lumps and bumps in case there's a wee cyst. Otherwise it could be that you have a really strong let down in one boob?

If it feels like you have needles stabbing inside your breast tissue it could be thrush, and you'll need to get meds for yourself and your little one (even if only one if you have the symptoms, otherwise you get reinfected). Otherwise I'd say it's likely to be mastitis
