Since I have triplets, I've got a lot of help around and don't always get to do things exactly the way I'd like them done. I have to carefully pick and choose what I make a stink about and what I don't.

My MIL burps the babies with their soother in. Seems a bit odd to me. I'm not sure how a baby is supposed to burp when they're swallowing. The mechanics of it just don't make logical sense to me.

What do you guys think? Should I just let it go? What would you do?

sometimes i burp LO with his dummy in. But only when he doesnt want any milk but wants to suck. Somehow it works x

i red somewhere it can actually help wind come up as sucking the dummy helps the airways stay wide open

admittedly it does look odd though lol

i had to do this to aiden as he would cry for milk but he had colic so i had to wind him and only way was with his dummy in but it worked well!

Thanks for your advice. I guess I'll let it go and see how it works.
