Ovulation Test Instructions

• Do NOT use first morning urine samples as LH is synthesized in your body early in the morning. It will not show up in your urine until later in the day.
• The best time to test is between noon - 8pm. Pick a regular time that suits you best & test around the same time each day where possible
• Collect urine sample in a clean & dry container/cup
  
• With the arrows pointing downwards dip the test stick in your sample for 10 seconds
  
• Place test on a clean dry surface & read the result within 5 minutes max
• To determine your results you must compare the test band result with the control band

Test band is of equal or greater colour intensity than the control band = positive:
This a good indication that the LH serge is occurring. You should ovulate within the next 24-36 hours. Sexual intercourse is advised at anytime after the first positive test.

Test band can not be seen or is visible with less intense colour than the control band = Negative:
This means the LH level is at or near its normal level and that the surge is not in progress. You should continue with daily testing

Pregnancy Test Instructions

• Tests for early pregnancy
• Shows results in as fast as 1 minute
• Collect urine sample in a clean & dry container/cup
  
• With the arrows pointing downwards dip the test stick in your sample for 3 seconds
• Place test on a clean dry surface & read the result within 5 minutes max
  
• After the 5 minutes has passed any result should be classed as invalid & should be ignored ...after this time may be inaccurate most true positive will appear within 60 seconds
  

2 lines = positive (pregnant)
1 line = negative

Please note the packaging on the pregnancy tests only are not in English but does not stop them from working

Pregnancy Testing Advice

Using pregnancy test strips are a cheaper alternative to named & shop brands for those who are regular testers the instructions given above are important to follow to avoid disappointment.

All pregnancy tests no matter of brand or cost can occasionally show evap/shadow lines which are reported more with pregnancy test strips this is mainly due to the fact they are thinner made, more flimsy some would say & have no casing therefore a shadow line where the testing band should show may be very weak – Any line that makes you run around your house in order to view under different lighting, different angles, squint one eye to view, makes you stand on your head to see if you see the line in that position , MUST be ignored! A positive test will have a clear visible bold colour band – If you think you have a positive but faint result retest in 2 days.
