I have not bought a single thing. Even when i was pregnant, I did not buy anything as I was scared to jinx it

But I do have an inherited cot and very old 1970's high chair - I hope all these things come back in fashion.

I was also very lucky to have been given a bag of baby boy clothes. They are so cute.

An ex work colleague has just had a baby boy and I know money is tight for her but I just dont know if I can give her the clothes - what would you do? I want them for myself but feel so selfish as I dont have a baby

Why don't you just give her a couple of the outfits? Keep your favourite ones for your baby and let her have a couple of the others? Sounds like you have lots so there should be enough for both of you. That way you can do something nice for your friend and have some ready for yours when he/she gets here.
