By when do you think you would have bought everything (or nearly everything)for baby?

I purchase everything early, seeing as you are having twins I'd probably get it out of the way asap.
Also have you looked into sleeping them in the same cots etc?
And baby baths, if you have a regular Bath then id just get two bath supports to go in the water.

I'm 29+5 and still have no vests or sleepsuits. I need to get more nappies and wipes, hospital bag and items and I need to finish paying for my pram.

At this rate... Never!

We still haven't bought a single thing.. But we really don't need a lot. We will probably buy the double pram in the next few weeks, and are goig to buy new vests/babygros as dd2s are well worn and we want baby to have some nice new things. Other than that, we don't actually really need anything! Nappies and wipes we will stock up on but we have asked everyone to just buy us them instead of all of the other silly thigs people tend to buy for baby. (At least all of OHs family but the most pointless stuff!)

We do need to buy a new bed for dd1, so that we can do a big bed swap and dd2 will get dd1s cotbed (just has to turn it back to a cot) and the new baby will get dd2s cot, which is smaller than dd1s
