C-section booked

Went for 29week appointment today it almost seemed a waste of fuel and parking money I didn't have fundus checked no heart beat check they only did my 28 week bloods cos I asked and have booked my c-section for 4/2. I had to ask for a growth scan because my recovery worker suggested it as my diets not good so they booked me on for 35 weeks which seems daft cos if by that point baby struggling it almost seems to late(I know seems silly , but I can not control the way as much as I want too),
I feel I left there a bit deflated

Why didn't they check all of those things? Is that not a routine thing to do every time you have an appointment?

It's exciting to know your C-section date though

U wud of thought so, I spoke my local midwife yesterday and she was shocked, she said she cudnt believe they never even routinely asked about fetel movements so I am going to see her Monday and she's gonna give me a routine check over,
