I post a thread yesterday trying to describe symptoms from my c-section wound and after being seen today by my GP I can now explain myself a bit better...
My wound is over granulating - this means it is over healing - at the sides. I also have an infection there and some stitches comming out... GP cut away the end of some stitching today and it may loosen off more, just need to wait and see. I have 2 lots of antibiotics for the infection and for the over granulation I was treated with silver nitrate.
Has anyone had this before? I asked what the cause of the over granulation can be, Gp said can just be bad luck there is no reason. Also if the silver nitrate doesnt work the only other way to resolve is via surgery. Hopefully it works, ive heard it is effective treatment but would love to hear from anyone who has suffered the same thing. Thanks x
