does ne one elses stitches seem to weep mine weep clear fluid only in the morning during the day its fine ???

Mine did start to leak so I applied a wound plaster thingy (technical name :P) as it was clear I knew it wasn't infected. If it starts to become coloured or smelly I would ring a doctor just to check it over :)

You still have them in? Mine was removed before I left hospital I think it was after 5 days. xXx

Oh mine was like a plastic string with beads on each end. Sounds rather pretty eh but did'nt look too sexy lol xXx

I was stitched inside with disolvables but on the outside it was just glued.
I think as long as its clear fluid it is ok, if you're worried give your GP a ring

xx

I had staples!!! I thought everyone had them. Made a right mess of it to i now don't just have a scar but i look like a dot to dot according to OH (nice of him eh?)

As long as it stays clear i think it's just part of the healing process

They were really sore and tight, i had a drain inserted to get rid of the rest of the blood (i had a placental abruption) does your mum have a drain? that could be why they stapled.

yeah she did have a drain thats all out now though but she is so stiff and in a lot of pain glad i didnt have staples x

i hope she gets well soon. I really thought it was normal for everyone to have staples i didn't know you could be glues/stiched after C-Section. I will ask next time!!!

 to your mum

yeah i would im so glad mine are dissovable (sp) and i didnt have to have them out xx

yeah mine were dissovabal stitches too its very neat all my bruising has gone now too, i think this is the best way as the bead one sound so painfull when they come out and staples dont sound nice . Mine didnt weep though xx

Apparently its normal to slightly leak but not if it smells ( this happened to me and i had an infection) also i had the staples with my first daughter, i healed much better then dissovables!!
