calcification of placenta 36 weeks

Hello, I went to my weekly checkup today and when she measured my cervix it was not measuring properly so she did an ultrasound thinking my amniotic fluid might be low, my fluid seems to be fine but she did mention that there is calcified spots on my placenta. She didn't seem too concerned but reading stuff online it seems like there is need to worry, I have GD and high bp. He is very low and I have a lot of back pain, she didn't check me at all to see if I am dilated at all. Any advice??

I'm sorry that I dont have any advise but I didn't want to read and run. It seems like a very good thin that you've made it this far and the baby probably has a very good Chance if you need to deliver early. My daughter was 34 wks when I was induced and we weren't even in the hospital for 48 hrs. Wish you all the best!
