Aw, ok, that's nice. I remember when we left my little monsters home for 2 wks (with someone checking on them), they tried to hide the 1st few mins we got home and then our oldest girl had the nerve to hiss! After a little "forced loving" (as we call it) everything was back to normal.
Forced lovin is when we grab a cat up and just hug em and kiss em no matter how bad they squirm! You ever look at your cat and just wanna give a biiiiiig hug?! lol Our cats pretend to hate it
See, I was thinking the same thing....I would love a bunny, but I know one cat in particular that would think it's her play thing! She already stalks one of my other cats for no apparent reason! GiGi will be minding her own business and Sophia will just pick on her causing a fight!
@Lilly - ours will ignore us when we first return. If we try forced lovin' I have one that will contort herself, to intentionally avoid looking at you. It's hilarious.
I asked OH last night if we could get a bunny, he said no they make noises then he started making all these weird noises I said no they don't! So I youtubed it and he was like see? Nope, not getting one lol
I used to breed guinea pigs in my bedroom when I was a kid. So I'm used to animal noise. In fact, the only animal I want but won't get because of noise is a bird. I would loooove a sun conure, but the SCREECHING. Jebus. Our condo neighbors would hate us.
It seems they grunt when they are mad...but some tend to make other noises too. But no where near as much or loud as our cats! I just think bunnies freak him out for some reason.
Pirate, birds used to freak me out too, and I never knew why. And the really big ones still do (I have been attacked by macaws more times than I care to count).
