Need advice
I always have 28 day cycles and I have 3 children. Would you say that means I must ovulate on day 14. I've never done temps, opks etc.

Does anyone who has a 28 day cycle know what day they ovulate, can the ovulation day change each month and the luteal stage varies so my period always comes every 28 days. Eg ovulate cd 12 and have a 16 day luteal stage or the next month ovulate cd 16 and luteal stage 12 days.

Thanks

Hope that makes sense

I have 26-28 day cycles. I usually ovulate on day 12-13, my luteal phase is 14 days. Usually it's the day you ovulate that varies slightly rather than your luteal phase. Hope that helps x

Thank you, guess without knowing what day I ovulate I won't know what my luteal phase is.
I only ask because we dtd on cd9 but if I ovulate on cd 14 which is the average I have little chance of being pregnant. I'm thinking if I ovulate more cd 12 Id be in with more of a chance.
We're not trying at the moment though but we had the one slip, either way we would be happy.

I have ovulated as early as day 10 so always dtd from about day 8 :)

Thanks, I conceived my 3 children within 2 months from dtd from about day 10 to day 16. It would be interesting to know what day I ovulate. Might have to try opks just out of curiosity.

I also have a 28day cycle and I always seem to ovulate right at cd14 but sometimes a few days sooner so we always bd from cd9 to cd15 never temped or did opks. Temping recently but haven't gone a full cycle so I don't know how my body is with that it's hard for me to read.

Good luck with it all, I'm due AF in 7 days so I'll see what happens x

28 day cycle and ovulation can vary.. usually day 14 but has been as late as 19 before.

I never go over 28 day cycles though. If I did ovulate on cd 19 does that mean a 9 day luteal phase?

I think (please correct me if I'm wrong anyone) your luteal phase is fixed so you would get your af late..... Xx

I believe that is right, I must ovulate cd 14 then. Suppose I still have a small chance from only dtd cd9 x

Its never over till AF shows hun xx FX and 🌠 baby dust xx

luteal phase is constant and between 10 - 16 days so if u ovulated later ur period would be delayed.

Thank you, it's never delayed so I must ovulate on average around cd14. If I always have a 16 day luteal phase I could ovulate cd 12, I like them figures haha
