Hey guys,

So... We already have two beautiful children who have welsh names and now I am starting to thing of a name for our baby!

My son is 6 and his name is John-Rhys Jones - it is tradition in my husbands family to name the first born boys John-something then call them by their middle names.

My daughter is 5 and her name is Ffion Lowri Jones, no special reason for those names... we just like them.

So now we need name ideas! We are not going down the John-something route again if its a boy but would definetely like a middle name for either sex.

Any ideas??

Hey Tezzy,

I'm from North Wales too, I live in Yorkshire now as I have a lovely Yorkshire hubby!

My favourite girls names: Bronwen and Eira (means snow), oh and Seren (meaning star) is also a nice one

My favourite boys name: Elwyn

Funnily enough we had chosen Eira as a middle name for our MMC (Sian) it's a lovely name :)

I know I am not welsh but I am considering Enfys as a middle name. Might be a bit out there for you but thought I would share any way :haha:

I was in uni in north Wales and one of my friends names was eleri elin which I thought was lovely :)

ahhhh Bethan is number 1 on my list at the moment :) :)

Megan, Lowri, Sioned (with an accent over the o!), Bronwyn?

Aidan, Carwyn, Arwel, Dafydd?

We've just called our little girl Seren :)

Other names I love Cariad, Carys, Catrin, Eleri, Cari and Nia.

I was so glad we had a girl as I found it much easier to find a Welsh girls names than a boys.
