Hello ladies! :hi: I'm on CD#1 today, and am hoping for some LTTTC buddies this month who are feeling lucky in July!!!

Come join in the thread, introduce yourselves briefly, I'll be checking in on most days & would love to hear of your success stories & what's new this month that you're trying/planning... with lots of encouragement to go around!

My brief intro: I'm in the midwest US, work crazy hours, have 3 crazy cats, and hubs & I have been TTC for 2.5 years now... although a few scattered months have been imperfectly interrupted by life schedules/moving, etc. Other details in journal link below, stalkers welcome :flower:

GOOD LUCK ladies! :happydance:

Hi!!!

My name is Michelle, I am on cycle 27 or some other crazy number like that. We have 2 cats, 1 dog and a brother living with us in our home in Alberta. Most of my family is a good 5 day car ride away so we are going through alot of this alone. I would love to be a buddy! We are trying SMEP this month along with using conceive plus as lube during the high fertility days to give teh guys some extra swimming power.

Just had a lap and tube flushing on June 21st and will be ovulating in the next week so am doing as much baby dancing as we can. (especially in this heat lol)

I got a reading from Suzy Raine earlier this year who said I will be conceiving in July of this year so my fingers are so crossed it is not even funny. Although I know I cannot completely believe this online psycic I want it so bad that I can only hope positive energy will finally do it for us this cycle or next.

Hi Ladies!
I would love some buddies too! I live in the mountains with my husband, younger sister and two dogs. I love to cook, travel and read. We have been TTC for about 15 months, which is not as long as some but it has been a rollercoaster.

I was dx'd with PCOS and have had two huge surgeries to remove 14 fibroids. I am now 3 months postop and about 33 pounds lighter. This is our first cycle TTC after the surgeries. My doctor threw in some bonus ovarian drilling, so hopefully that will help! I am also taking Met and Clomid and am currently cd6!

I heard it is miserable being pregnant in the summer, here is hoping we all get to find out firsthand!

Hey :)

We are on our 23rd cycle all together, we had a MMC last year and are still trying since.
Be lovely to speak to other ladies who have been at this a while, I spend more time in TTC and it seems a lot of the ladies there haven't been TTC for long.

Good luck and baby dust :hugs:

Hi ladies would love to join in!
I'm currently 12dpo.. a little about me- dh and I have been ltttc for 3 years. Was diagnosed with pcos earlier this year. This is our first month of Clomid, and have successfully ovulated for the first time in a very very long time. Tested this morning- bfn. Trying to not lose hope.
Good luck to all :)

...my fingers are so crossed it is not even funny.

Forceful finger crossing, love it! That's a great mental image! :haha:

Hooray for all of you ladies with a very promising month ahead! Whether trying for a year or 3 or more, I feel like there is a pretty big difference between a lot of the TTC conversations and LTTTC... There's just a whole 'nother level of mess-with-your-heart when you've gone through so many ups & downs (JanFAIL, FebFAIL, MarchFAIL, AprFAIL, MayFAIL, JuneFAIL etc etc or worse ), but trying to stay hopeful and positive is a battle worth fighting in my humble opinion :hugs:

Now all I need is for AF to get outta here! :witch: She is NOT welcome back next month!

Agreed! 'FAIL' is the exact word to describe ttc right now!

My AF is due tomorrow :( definitely think she's coming! - Good luck to us all this cycle xo

Hi all,
Hoping I can join in. This is my first post with LTTTC. I have been posting previously on the Assisted Conception board for IVF. We are currently on a break.

Quick story. We have been TTC for over a year and a half now. Had a lap done for suspected endo in August 2012. They found fibroids and a closed left tube. Was referred to RE to see if one of the larger fibroids was impeding with pregnancy and a possible expert surgical approach. After saline sono, RE said that fibroid is good to stay put. We then went through bloodwork. I had AMH of 0.01, DH had low morphology and motility. They recommended IVF right away. After they stimmed me aggressively, I had 41 eggs. I went into OHSS and ended up spending time in the hospital and then having fluid drained off. Cycle cancelled, then FET in March with 2 good embies, but BFN. We only have 3 embies left, of lesser quality. We are saving money for the next FET and taking a break.

I came here to find support. Everyone in my life is either pregnant or just had a baby. With every announcement, I am having a hard time. I finally felt like I was in a good place the last couple of weeks and now with 3 preggo announcements I am having a hard time. Hoping to find some buddies here that can understand! I am CD1 today. My cycles have been wonky since IVF/FET. Hoping to give this cycle a good go. I am praying for a miracle. Otherwise FET in November-ish.

Sorry so long! Thanks for letting me join in and looking forward to getting to know you all!

IUI #6 coming up next week, I think. Don't have an exact date yet. CD 8 today and I go in tomorrow for a follie check.

I'm 41.5, DH is 40.5. No problems other than I'm just "old". DH's SA came back just fine and all tests have shown my tubes and ovaries are fine. I had two surgeries to fix a slight double uterus (one before a m/c and another after). And you can see I had a miscarriage in January.

DH has ejaculatory issues, so we can only try with IUI...can't try naturally at all. So one of these months I hope I drop a viable egg and get pregnant with a sticky bean.

We've all been through the ringer, so I know you guys know what I am going through. Wishing everyone success!!

Coming up to high fertility times although feel like I may have already ovulated.

It is so warm and humid feel like we cant bd as much as I would like, but hope this is the month. got myself a fertility bracellet and have been wearing it almost every day for good luck.
Anyone else trying something different?

It does seem like everyone I know is getting preggo or just had a baby. I am half tempted to cancel my Facebook. Don't even get me started on Pinterest. You can always tell who is going to be announcing their pregnancy soon by all their baby pins that start to creep up. It is like a kick to the gut, so I totally get how you are feeling.

This is my first cycle back TTC after a 4 month break while I recovered from my fibroids surgeries. I had the first one at the beginning of March, only to wake up and be told that I was a hot fibroid mess and would need an open, abdominal surgery if I was ever to concieve. I had the second surgery 5 weeks later. It was a big, big big surgery and I was so scared I would wake up again to bad news or that they had to take my uterus out. The first thing I woke up to was the operating room nurse smiling at me and telling me I did great and she was sure they would be seeing me sometime next year for my c-section. Talk about going from emotional lows to highs.

Honestly, these 4 months I have been in recovery were wonderful because I didn't have to stress about getting pregnant. I could just think about healing and getting my body back in shape. It sounds corny, but I feel like it healed my soul a little too. Which is the point of my long ramble, lol. Now that I am back trying, I feel more peaceful, hopeful and positive. Enjoy your little break and pamper yourself! Not only is TTC hell on our bodies, but it is ten times worse on our emotions.
The course of our physical journeys may be different, but I think we all can relate to how you are feeling. You are not alone. Good luck on this cycle, I have read many stories of surprise BFPs while couples wait to try assisted methods. O:)

Ps. Once again, sorry for the long ramble!

Baby dust to us all ladies!

Tulips I hope you get your BFP soon!

Hubby and I agreed this and next cycle to give it a go then take the rest of the summer off. It has just been so much of a struggle I cannot believe it. I ended up crying last night after a failed attempt at Bding. It was just to hot and we were both NOT in the mood but I was like WE ARE DOING THIS and ended up being the worst thing ever. But we ended up having a good talk and hopefully wont have to deal with this much longer. I Just want to know what is happening! Is this fruitless, can I just do IVF or IUI or give me drugs or SOMETHING. AHHHHHHH

As for people announcing things on facebook and pinterest .... I removed them from my feed. Who cares if they notice, I cant deal with it anymore.

I hear you about the heat and bding, miserable. I haven't heard of fertility bracelets, I hope it works for you! I think we are going to try softcups/preseed this month. Just found out DH will have to be out of town for work leaving Monday (cd12) and not coming back until the evening of Friday (cd16). I am hoping if we bd on Sunday night and then as soon as he gets back Friday we can still catch an egg. This is the most stressful month at work too, or I would just take a day off and go to him.
I have 34-35 day cycles normally, but who knows with this Clomid now. So here to hoping I either 'O' early or late, if I get to 'O' at all. Fingers crossed!

looks like I did ovulate early so much for doing SMEP this month, hoping the few times we did will to the job.

Take a personal day and go get some!

Went in for a follie check today, and I have three mature follies at 18mm!! That's the best result ever! I guess my body likes the Femara and Gonal-F combo. So I go in for an IUI tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Hi. We live on the East Coast of the US. We've been ttc on and off for two years now. Last year I was DX with Endo and this year I was DX with PCOS. I've had two surgeries for endo in the last couple of uears. DH has super sperm. This month I am trying my first round of femara and the HCG trigger shot. I am also on metformin and synthroid. I'm praying for a BFP soon...

It's hard to remember sometimes, but those little sperms can live for days! It just takes one! Good luck!!!!

Yes!!!! Mature follies, clomid, femara, or just a lucky month... I totally feel it ladies!!! This is going to be a good month for one of us, hopefully more than one! :wohoo:

Myshel: I'm totally feeling ya! Even if you got "a few" bouts in this week, all you need is one of the millions! I feel like we've heard of so many stories of success when it's least expected, like waiting between treatments as previously mentioned, or when it seems less likely. Who knows! Fingers crossed for you in this TWW!!!

Tulip: how far away is he that week? Can you each drive halfway on wednesday? Then it'd be every other day (which I'm a personal believer in btw), it'd still be perfect! Are you doing LH testing too, so you know if the M or F days were close to the mark??

My DH lives 6 hours away (yes this is an issue for TTC, we're doing our best! and he's FINALLY moving here in August!!! :happydance:) and although we see each other for at least a few days mid-cycle once or twice a month, we've been known to each drive 3 hours (halfway is Normal, IL... SOOOOO romantic, ha!!! :spermy:)... but you do what you gotta do! We joked that if we concieved there we should name our kid after where he was conceived, right? A boy named Norm? "Hi, my name is Normal"... "Hi, I'm Normal"

Hi! Welcome! I'm excited for your first round of femara! Good luck!!! :happydance:

Ps- also doing low carb diet here, I'm off to steam some fish & veggies! Nomnomnom!

Oh yeah, btw, the facebook & pinterest thing- I find it much easier on Pinterest, I go straight to the person's board and "unfollow". I really wish facebook would let you selectively unfollow by topic like that. I have friends that I otherwise enjoy hearing from/seeing updates for, but don't really need the potty training updates , weekly bump photos, etc. It's different for my close girlfriends I guess, and there are a few others I'm just genuinely happy for that are sometimes also the ones that post more rarely and go for quality (pics- super cuteness) over quantity! I'm hoping that's what I'll go for someday when sharing good news & cute things, quality over quantity :)
