Calling LTTTC#1 buddies for July!

Hi everyone,

I feel so understood on this thread! This is my first post here so will explain a bit about myself. DH and I have been ttc since Januaryish of 2011 (give or take a few months while life was taking over). Last month I had the dye test which revealed that my tubes are not blocked and they know I am ovulating. The last two tests ahead are the sperm test for DH and then laproscopy for me. My DH is not looking forward to his test as he fears I will blame him if there is an issue...no matter how hard I try to let him know that it would just help us chose our next step. AF should show up on Monday, and I can feel her coming on full force! I have not posted on here since March...not going to lie this month has been rough :(

Went in for a follie check today, and I have three mature follies at 18mm!! That's the best result ever! I guess my body likes the Femara and Gonal-F combo. So I go in for an IUI tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Good luck, that is crazy exciting!

My hubby felt t he same. We had a convo about it right.edu our and I let him know that I loved him no matter what his sperm count just like he loves me. The most positive thing about men its that sometimes it can all be fixed with vitamins. Where we are stuck with surgery or hormone therapy.

Hours luck on the tests!

Hey, everyone~

I had my 6th IUI this morning. We were worried about my husband's sample because he'd done some "solo work" yesterday morning before we had any idea that I had 3 mature follicles and would have the IUI today. But his sample wasn't as bad as we feared after only 24 hours. They estimate 10 million after the wash. Not a great result, but certainly not a disaster. And I do have the 3 follies so I pray at least one of them is viable. So it's done and now...The Wait. If the past is any indication, I will know in 10 days.

Hey everyone so I am officially 4DPO and first cycle after my lap and tube flush.

Thinking of not taking my left for the remainder for the cycle to take a break now that O has been confirmed. Symptom spotting is the worst, i have the perfect cycle last month and convinced myself with my huge temp drop that I had implanted but I obviously didn't. Not sure I can go through that again.

How is everyone else doing?

My IUI was only yesterday so I don't think I'll get sucked down the symptom spotting rabbit hole for another week. My meds give me mad symptoms anyway, so it's truly impossible for me to tell until my period arrives (or doesn't).

Yes!!!! Mature follies, clomid, femara, or just a lucky month... I totally feel it ladies!!! This is going to be a good month for one of us, hopefully more than one! :wohoo:

Myshel: I'm totally feeling ya! Even if you got "a few" bouts in this week, all you need is one of the millions! I feel like we've heard of so many stories of success when it's least expected, like waiting between treatments as previously mentioned, or when it seems less likely. Who knows! Fingers crossed for you in this TWW!!!

Tulip: how far away is he that week? Can you each drive halfway on wednesday? Then it'd be every other day (which I'm a personal believer in btw), it'd still be perfect! Are you doing LH testing too, so you know if the M or F days were close to the mark??

My DH lives 6 hours away (yes this is an issue for TTC, we're doing our best! and he's FINALLY moving here in August!!! :happydance:) and although we see each other for at least a few days mid-cycle once or twice a month, we've been known to each drive 3 hours (halfway is Normal, IL... SOOOOO romantic, ha!!! :spermy:)... but you do what you gotta do! We joked that if we concieved there we should name our kid after where he was conceived, right? A boy named Norm? "Hi, my name is Normal"... "Hi, I'm Normal"

Auror: He's only four hours away from home, but a huge project I have been the lead on at work is being implemented this week and I actually have to be all over the state for it. I have to work overtime and fly out for an overnight to one of the hospitals. If I didn't have soo many people depending on me...grrr. Normally my job is extremely flexible, the stars are just not aligning.
My cbfm is showing high fertility on cd11, which is totally unheard of for me so who knows! I had it show high fertility one cycle for days 20-26 so this is at least an improvement! My last cycle was low fertility everyday! I have an ultrasound tomorrow to check my follies, here is hoping there are some good ones!. It just figures the timing of all of this, maybe it will be my month since it seems like a long shot. Please work preseed and softcup! :laugh2:
I am so excited for you that your DH is moving to be with you! I bet you are so thrilled! That has to be so hard TTC with such a distance between the two of you, but it sounds like you guys are making the best of it. You will have your little Norm in no time! :yipee:

Myshel: 4dpo, woot woot! Come on little sperm and egg! When are you going to test? Are you an early tester? If so, just 6 more days !

Ready: Welcome!!! I am sorry you are having a rough month and I pray that your lap and hubby's SA turn out A-ok! I hate hate hate when AF shows up, but think of it this way every time she does she brings with her a new chance. The worst time for me is always getting a BFN and then having to wait for her to show her stupid face. :hugs:

Kat: :dust::dust::dust: I hope and pray this is your lucky month!! 3 follies, that is wonderful!!!

I think this is a lucky thread ladies and before we know it we will all be buddies on the first trimester board!! Finger, toes but not our legs crossed! (Kinda wicked and naughty but appropriate!)

Praying: Welcome! PCOS is the worst. I hope Met and Femera are your magic combination! I am a BFP virgin too.

Oh yeah, btw, the facebook & pinterest thing- I find it much easier on Pinterest, I go straight to the person's board and "unfollow". I really wish facebook would let you selectively unfollow by topic like that. I have friends that I otherwise enjoy hearing from/seeing updates for, but don't really need the potty training updates , weekly bump photos, etc. It's different for my close girlfriends I guess, and there are a few others I'm just genuinely happy for that are sometimes also the ones that post more rarely and go for quality (pics- super cuteness) over quantity! I'm hoping that's what I'll go for someday when sharing good news & cute things, quality over quantity :)

I just try to never look at my homepage of Pinterest. I hear you about the baby over sharing, enough already! I am happy for everyone and wish them the best. I guess I am just jealous I am not part of that group. I will try to be like you when I am, quality over quantity!

Happy Monday! I had my ultrasound today and have two follicles growing on my left ovary. They were hoping I would be on track to 'O' tomorrow or the next day, but she said it just might be a little later and since it is the first cycle we are still figuring it out. Honestly I am hoping to 'O' cd 17+. CD12 is still early. Keepin' positive!
How is everyone else doing?

I would love to join this thread!! My name is Brittany and I am 23 years old. I have a hubby and 2 stepchildren. I love them to death but am ready for my own children!! Me and DH have been ttc for 2.5 years now. I was recently informed that I have very low AMH levels and that is the ONLY known issue we have. I have had lots of bloodwork and ultrasounds and testing and everything known to man lol. I'm currently on cd21 so hopefully either next week or so I'll start my next cycle. I go next Wednesday to meet with my RE to discuss our next steps and further treatment. I was previously on clomid 100 mg and 250mcg of ovidrel. Currently in my TWW. I'll keep you ladies updated and good luck to all of you!

Yesterday I had an US. They found several follies between 8 and 14 on both ovaries. So far they are looking at about 3 or 4 possibly developing. I will have an US tomorrow to see how much they have grown, make sure it's not too many and more then likely get my trigger shot.

Good luck Ladies!!!!

Good luck! Sounds very promising so far!!

Yeah trigger shot!

Waiting out the tww now. No symptoms but not excepting anything since first cycle after lap. But it would be nice!
And yes I am a tester, going to try to hold off this month though bit well probably test starting 9dpo just for the heck of it.

Praying: That is great news! Bump!!

Myshel: Tons of ladies have no symptoms and get their BFP. I have had so many "preggo" symptoms and it has always turned out to be AF!

Britt:Welcome!

I just back from my US and my two little follies had a mega growth spurt! The doc was shocked! And three more little guys popped up. Plus my uterus is "beautiful", as opposed to the gnarly hot mess it used to be.The doc thinks I should 'O' tomorrow. Too bad DH is 4 hours away and I have to be 2 additional hours in the opposite direction by 7:00 tomorrow. This is the one week in my entire professional career that I have no control over and can't skip out on. Sob sob sob.
So now just hoping the preseed+softcup combo on Sunday night will be enough. At least I know the clomid is working! At least next month DH and I will be on vacation during my fertile time in August if this month isn't our month! Feeling really positive and encouraged!!

knowing the Clomid is working the most important thing next month for sure if you don't catch it this month! sucks that you couldn't meet up they Tell us that Sperm can last for a couple days so fingers crossed for that
wishing you all the luck in the world!

Tulips, that is great news! I'm so glad your uterus looks wonderful now. I hope you see a BFP some time this summer!! I'm so sorry your schedules don't align perfectly this month, but there's still a chance, so go for it!

Thank you Myshel and Kat! I hope this is all our lucky month!:happydance:

Good luck ladies! Sounds like we're headed in the right direction! Tulips- still hoping for the best of course, but if this month doesn't work out, that vacation in August sounds perfect!!!

I'm on CD 8 now... Last month we missed our window bigtime (husband lives 6 hours away), as we can't always coordinate our visits & I was working my butt off here all June. This month, I'm driving home for 3 days then he'll come back with me for another 3 days, so we'll be together for CD 11-CD17!

New this month: pre-seed & soft cups! Fingers crossed!!!

Aurora, wow, that sounds so stressful to be away from each other! But I'm SO glad things work out this month!! Super :dust: to you!!
