God, that was IUI #6 and I'm 41. What the hell else can I do?? We can't afford IVF and adoption is even more expensive. I wonder if this journey is over.

I'm sorry about the BFN Kat, I can truely sympathize with how your feel regarding the IVF and the adoption cost. You still have more time, some people goe through fertility treatments and then it happens naturally. I hope that is the case for you.

Thanks, Praying4bump. Sadly, my husband suffers from an ejaculatory disorder. He can't during intercourse. He can "by hand", though, so that's how we're able to do IUI. So this means that IUI is our ONLY way of trying each month. See my problem?

Yeah, so frustrating! and I can't tell our friends because it's embarrassing to my husband, so they all really don't understand that each month we just have the one shot and why I just can't seem to get pregnant.

Ugh. I'm just spinning in a thousand directions today. I need a cake. A whole cake. And a cold mojito. And a pool. No...I need a 3 day vacation in the Caribbean with cake and mojitos. THAT would make me feel better!

Cali - FX for a Soy baby!Going to try Soy this month as well. Starting 2DPO @100mg in hopes it will give me more eggs and more mature eggs. Or maybe day 3 havent decided yet. I do Ovulate on my own but think that maybe eggs are too small .... not sure but going to try for 2 months while waiting for FS.
and YES IT IS SUCH A LONG WAIT!

I am tempted to try Soy again this month. I tried it for a few months last summer and all it did was give me huge headaches However since I am on CD1 again I am now willing to try anything

My charts seem to indicate a slow rise after ov which could mean poor ovulation which soy is supposed to help improve

I remember reading of a few people who got their OH's to ejaculate into a soft cup which the woman then added some pre-seed to and inserted it inside her (the things we read when ttc ).

Could this possibly be an option for you in addition to the IUI?

Yup, we try that every cycle. Not very romantic, but ah well.

Myshel- I am so sorry that AF came! I have read many stories on these boards about surprise BFP that happen to couples waiting for their FS appointment.

Good luck with the soy ladies, I heard that taking the soy later in the cycle (like cd5-9) leads to bigger, stronger eggs so maybe if you already 'O' you could consider that?

Kat- I am so sorry about the BFN , maybe it's too early to test still? That must be very stressful and draining to experience with your husband, TTC is hard enough. My DH takes meds that occasionally have that side effect, very frustrating. Can you try one of those at-home insemination kits so maybe you can self inseminate at home a couple times?

OMG, Tulips, that is so true!!

Yeah, I was really sad yesterday and today. Yesterday I just felt out since I felt nothing particular. Then the BFN this morning when I knew my period could arrive at any hour...I thought I HAD to be out. But AF hasn't arrived yet and either my cycle is a wee longer this month or it's not coming. I'd like it not to arrive, please!

I think I'm out : ( 10dpo and bad cramps today, I heard clomid can shorten your cycle? Did a test because I'm obsessed and bfn. Sigh. M follicles were looking so good this month too.

Dimps, do you usually get cramps? Any way it could be implantation? I had that once, and it felt a little like AF cramps, but they went away after a few hours and no AF came. I hope you're not out!

Hi Kat, yeah unfortunately I do, and this cycle I had 3 quite big follies so I got really painful ovulation as well! Im gutted as I was so hopeful for this month, and because of the size of my follicles I've been told I can't take clomid next month which is mad as I've seen people on here with more.

AF is due on Monday, here's to hoping she doesn't show

Hey Kat, are you sure you are out already? FX for you that must be really frustrating. I hope not
My DH also has some issues going "inside" so when it is one of those days (every other time) he will work himself to the "brink" and I will make sure I am all lubed up and he will thrust himself inside at the last possible moment. Not very romantic, but you do what you have to. I have used soft cups a few times and think that would also work for you guys. I am sure you have tried everything but any suggestion sometimes can be a good one.

myshelsong, yup, we've been doing the Soft cup thing from almost the beginning. We're old pros at it. Sadly nothing has come of it yet. And we tried your other method once...what a disaster. Sadly, we won't try that again. Oh well.

Yeah, I guess I'm still in the running. No preg symptoms, but no AF, either.
