Would you give calpol if you think LO is feeling unwell? I mean, how do you tell?

Chloe has loose bowels and seems uncomfortable by the way she is wriggling about, she is refusing milk- bottle and breast, she has been screaming and very clingy to me (not daddy which is unusual)

Would it be ok to give her a dose of calpol do you think, in case she is feeling poorly?

YEa i think i propbably would, just give the same dosage that they reccomend for 1st injections x

We still have medised in our cupboards - always will for Caitlin & bump#2

I would say no more than 2.5ml or 5ml at her age max after 3 months 10ml MAX again x x

In fact for under 3 montsh personally I'd stick to no more than 2.5ml not even consider 5ml

I think thats how I did it.

Oh gripe water after feeds ...they say from 3 months! Always helped Caitlin really let go of wind and empty out.

x

Thanks Wobbs, I would only give Chloe 2.5mls at the mo, but she has fallen asleep now so fingers crossed she will sleep through the night again and feel better tomorrow.

I have made a dr appointment for her on wednesday morning if she's no better.

I know it is too late, but i'd have done the same thing!
