Came off the pill 18th August, Light bleeding?

We are trying for our 2nd baby. I came off the pill 18th August on the 23rd Friday until now I have had light bleeding. 6 days of light bleeding which is longer than what i would have for a normal period. Just done an ovulation test and that came back negative. Knew it would but it just seems strange.

Do you thing I should count today as my last day of my period as it seems coming off the pill has triggered a period?

The withdrawal bleed probably lasted longer because you didn't start up the next pack of hormones since progesterone (well the fake stuff in the pill) builds the lining and is present in the first week of pills. Give your body adjustment time, it is a big change to have pills fed to you, then having to stop and produce your own hormones, you may get crazy withdrawal symptoms too. I counted my first day of withdrawal bleed as cd1 and apparently my body got onboard and ovulated on time. Be prepared for pretty much anything. good luck!
