I have a 5 month old and we are going on holiday when she's six months. I would like to take a carrier with me as she likes looking forward and it may be easier than a pram at times.
I already have a moby wrap but find it a bit of a faf at times can anyone suggest already made carriers please that aren't too expensive. I like the look of the ergo but it's too expensive. I don't mind getting a second hand one as I will look an eBay for one.

Thanks x

Decent carriers won't allow you to have LO forward facing as it's not ideal for LO's hips and it will be much harder on your back (as well as throwing your centre of gravity too far forward). You could look at carriers that will allow a hip carry or back carry as an alternative. Mei tais can be worn on the hip and I find SSCs like the Rose and Rebellion the easiest for a back carry as you can sit LO in the carrier in a chair then put them on like a back pack :D There's a good buying/selling group on Facebook called Slings and Things - FSOT and advice, or I often see R&Rs on Zulily.

I have an Ergo and wasn't sure about spending the money but I am a convert. Also they hold quiet good vaule so my thinking is I should be able to sell it for half of what I paid for it once I don't need it anymore.

Be careful on ebay as there are fake ergos all over the place. Google fake Ergos or look on the offical site for info. Its very hard to tell them apart. That is what finally convince me to go for a new one from an official seller.
