Can babies tell when they are loved ??

I shower Alexa in kisses all the time I love howq she smells and I love kisses her chubby cheaks and tell her all the time how much I love her. Will she sense my strong feelings for her and know she is safe and loved ???

I'm having a bit of a bad day today (on anti depressants for PND) and my OH works away during the week and I do everything for her even when OH is home he doesn't really do much apart from play with her but I've noticed she seems to smile loads more for him and gets excited to see him and feel like she likes him more than me (I know how stupid this sounds) !!

Yes of course! They pick up on your subconscious signals and know when they're loved and wanted

yes, they know when they are loved.
She seems to smile more only cos its a different face, I think a lot of babies do this. Jen always beams at my mum, even if shes been grumpy with me!
You're the one that makes her feel safe and secure, she will love you most of all cos you are mummy.
Sorry to read you are having a tough time, have you been on the tablets long? Sometimes it can take about a month for them to be fully working. you are doing really well, coping on your own!

Thanks it helps to hear ppl tellin me I'm doin well coz I find it sooo hard sometimes feel like a single parent my OH is away so often.

I've been on them for over a month now but they are wanting to put them up slightly I've got another appt with doctor about it at the end of the month.
