Can clomid mess up your cycle??

Hi all. I'm on my first round of clomid. I got a positive opk on cd16 which was a few days later than usual. I am on cd20 now but have been getting twinges and cramps today. My AF isnt due till about the 6th April, so i'm wondering can clomid mess up your cycle and make your AF come early??

I've never heard of clomid doing that to a cycle but perhaps one of the other ladies on here will have had an experience like that.

Did your doctor not recommend a CD12 follicle scan? That's what is usually done after a round of clomid. Clomid shortens my cycle to exactly 28 days and I Ov' on CD15.

Well lets just hope it's implantation cramps!

same her dont think it does that but it shortens your af i ovulated cd15 so today i am 4dpo so yours could be inplantaion hunni fx for you x x

think everyone is different my 1st clomid cycle i ov'd on cd20 and then had a 33 day cycle, this month i've ov'd on cd15 and am on cd29 now, which i think very shortly will turn into cd1

but doubt it'll be your af so soon, so maybe implantation

no doc never said anythin about getting a follicle scan. Only thing i was told to do was to get a day 21 blood test, which i had today. I have a feeling its just gonna be AF and my stupid body is giving me early warning signs. Dont think i would be lucky enough to get pregnant on first round of clomid unless my dh's slow swimmers miraculously turned into olympic swimmers! LOL

My first cycle of Clomid I had a long cycle and needed provera to start AF. I am now on 15mg's and AF is late. I know I ovulated around the 17th CD 19. Therefore could still be preggo. Going crazy waiting to test.
