can HSG cause late periods

Just wondering if having a HSG done, if it could mess up your cycle and cause late periods? I'm due to start today, and I usually get AF cramps a week before AF is coming, and I havent had anything but severe constipation, causing cramps, not AF cramps at all, and a sore tummy.

Mine did. I had my HSG in early March. then didn't get a period until a week later than expected. then had my hysteroscopy and again got my period a week late after that. My cycles are usually 26-27 days long and after the first cycle after the procedures I've gone back to normal again.

Awh what a bummer, I was getting my hopes up. Stupid HSG test!

no, wait...that was just my experience. Could be more than that for you! They say after HSG you have increased fertility for like 3-6 months!

well i think its coming soon, im getting cramps every now and then. But I do start clomid this next cycle!

Hsg worked I think. Took a test this morning
I have been ttc 19 cycles, and was fixin to start clomid this month!

Yes the test was a nice positive! I'm in such stock, you get use to seeing negatives after 1yr and 7 months!
