can i collect urine in the morning and test in the evening?

am on day 31 by today. i tested yesterday and it came out negative. mine is normally a 26/27/28 day cycle. i did not have hpt in stock. so i collected urine in the morning in a cup and had kept it open in the bathroom ( did not think much before doing that). Evening after almost 10hrs i tested with a hpt and it came out negative.

Does it make the urine sample invalid after 10hrs or so? Please advice

Hcg starts to evaporate and dicipate pretty quickly in stored in urine. If there is any in the morning same it will be far less than when you originally peed 10 hours later. I'd say, next time just wait and see in the evening right on the stick, you'll probably get the same concentration that you would with FMU anyway with how sensitive tests are.
