I'm tracking my bbt and thought I was having an anvulatory cycle since there were no upward trends. From CD 24 - 38, I had Ewmc, PMS symptoms, with temps staying in 96.9-97.1 range. Then CD 39, my cm changed to sticky and my bbt went up to 97.4. Next day 97.6. Then 97.9. Then 97.6. So I think I ovulated on CD 38. My question is can I get pregnant this late in my cycle? I'm wondering because we did it on CD 36 and there was barely noticeable slight tinge of pink when wiping after. Did it again CD 38 and had noticeable spotting. My bbs are still tender on CD 43. It's too soon for implantation to get pregnancy symptoms. I'm so confused and frustrated! Anyone have a similar experience?

I have never ovulated as late as CD38, so I can't share a similar experience, but I have read about women ovulating any number of days into a cycle and getting pregnant. Women with PCOS tend to have really long cycles, like 50 days long, and they can get pregnant if BD timing works with ovulation. It is definitely possible! While you are probably too early to have "pregnancy" symptoms per se since it's highly unlikely (though not impossible) that implantation has happened, hormone changes start as soon as fertilization occurs so it is possible to feel things. GL to you, I hope this is it!:flower:

I had a miscarriage 6 months ago so got ultrasounds done because of the process. They found a 5 cm cyst but it shrank. I was told I don't have PCOS.

I'm typically CD 35. I'm training for a half marathon so crossing fingers the running is what is causing the delay in my O and it isn't something else.

Thank you for responding! GL to you too!

Thanks, I need all the help I can get!

Any number of things can delay ovulation. Stress, intense exercise, a follicle that matured slowly, a wacky hormone shift. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a pattern. Hopefully it's just one goofy cycle.

Good luck with the half marathon! I ran a couple of them before my thyroid went haywire and I lost all my energy. Things are better now (not perfect, though, grrr) and I am trying to get back into exercise. Starting with walking and a little yoga.
