can i have a proud mummy moment please?

i know i've been really miserable on here the last couple of days and i thank you all for your kind words and support so i just wanted to share my proud moment with you guys:

my baby slept in his cot in his own room for the first time last night and we both coped without each other!

i'd been putting it off for weeks because i love having him in his moses basket next to me and because i was waiting for my husband to be here, when he was around last week we agreed we'd do it on monday but even after he left i decided to stick it. i hate being in the house alone and dreaded leaving my bedroom to have to resettle him or feed him but he only woke up once had his bottle and went straight back to sleep

now i've just got to get used to him being the otherside of the landing and put his moses basket away

That is such a big step and well done for sticking to it even with your ex buggering off. Your LO sounds like he is already being a good little boy for his mummy. Hehe.
